The Cost of Halal
Halal (Arabic: ????? ?alal, ‘permissible’), also spelled hallal or halaal is any object or an action which is permissible to use or engage in, according to Islamic law. The term covers and designates not only food and drink but also all matters of daily life. It is one of five ? fard (compulsory), mustahabb (recommended), halal (allowed), makruh (disliked), haram (forbidden) ? that define the “morality” of human action in Islam. Mubah is also used to mean “permissible” or “allowed” in Islam.
The muslims have scared many companies into paying this iniquitous religious fee; companies like Kraft, Sanitarium, Nestle, Kellogg?s, Ardmona (SPC), Gourmet Garden, Ballantyne Butter, Promite, Purina (including their cat food!), almost all mass produced poultry, Cadbury, Masterfoods, Mars bars, Franklins, and even our Aussie icon Vegemite is now halal! – this is just a very small sampling. There are literally millions of companies paying the halal scam fee.
We estimate the halal scam conservatively rakes in up to $20 to $30 million a year in Australia alone. Some estimates put it in the billions. The problem is, we can’t be sure because the halal certification companies are owned by tax-free mosques or by private companies that are not obliged to disclose their earnings.
The halal scam has been in operation since 1983 when the first halal certificate was issued! Imagine how much money we have contributed to islam since then!
The ?Hidden? Costs of Halal
Once a business is fooled into paying the halal certification fee it finds itself locked into an islamic business model that demands halal practices all along the supply chain. That means that Australian infidels, those of us who are not islamic, cannot get a job in the halal business.
This is despite the fact that it is illegal under our anti-discrimination laws. For example, only moslems can be employed to perform halal slaughter. As a result, hundreds of non-moslem Australian slaughtermen have lost their jobs. The story is the same all over Australia.
Whenever an abattoir advertises for a moslem slaughterman it breaks the anti-discrimination laws that forbid advertising for a particular religion, race or gender. Women are not allowed to perform halal slaughter. Yet, companies routinely break our anti-discrimation laws today by advertising for islamic only slaughtermen.
At last count there were about 100 abattoirs still operating in Australia, and 80% are paying halal certification fees from a few thousand dollars a year and upwards, depending on the size of the abattoir and throughput.
Thousands of other companies are also paying the halal certification fee. Farmers, transport, logistics, warehouses, wholesalers, and retails are all being forced to pay if even one company in their supply chain succumbs to the halal scam.
Just how much is the islamic halal certification market worth each year?
It is impossible to learn exactly how much the Australian halal market is worth, but conservative estimates put it in the billions of dollars a year…and growing.
This report from Monash University show what the halal market in Australia and internationally is worth at least $2.8 Trillion:
Halal guide to consumer faith
We are talking about very big business. No wonder the halal certifiers are fighting so hard to retain their scam business.
How much is $2.8 Trillion?
They say a picture is worth a thousand words, so we provide this visualization so that you get an idea of the massive business halal certification has become….and remember, the money is generated by selling a piece of paper that most consumers don?t even know they are paying for!

A million is equal to a thousand thousands (1,000 x 1,000 = 1,000,000)
A billion is equal to a thousand millions (1,000 x 1,000,000 = 1,000,000,000)
A trillion is equal to a thousand billions (1,000 x 1,000,000,000 = 1,000,000,000,000)If you stack 100 x $100 bills = $10,000.
This is one stack of $10,000 in $1 dollar bills
This is one pallet of 112 x $10,000 = $1,120,000 per layer
Increase that to 90 layers worth a little over $100,000,000 (one hundred million dollars)
Multiply that by 10 rows of pallets and you have ONE BILLION DOLLARS.
100 rows of pallets = One Trillion Dollars (note the size of the man standing at the bottom left of this image).
The total world halal trade turnover is estimated by the Department of Islamic Development Malaysia (JAKIM), the official halal certifying body, at TWO POINT EIGHT TRILLION DOLLARS!? That’s THREE stacks of the lower picture. (Note the size of the man in the bottom left of the picture)
To put it another way we can easily envisage, if we were to stack all those one dollar bills in a single pile it would be as high as 93 Burj Khalifa buildings, the tallest building in the world standing at 2,716.5 feet…93 of these is 77 kilometers high!
Imagine a stack of $1 bills the height of 93 Burj Khalifa building…77 kilometers high!
It?s easy to see why there is more than enough money to pay for the many terrorist attacks we are seeing around the world today.
So, is it any wonder that as we are waking up to this gigantic scam that so many people are calling for an end to halal certification?
